It was a feel-the-vibe-enjoy-the-moment kind of event at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club in April. The Gulf Elite Tour in its 2nd season, had attracted riders from all corners of the UAE Equestrian world. Beautiful weather, positive atmosphere, keen riders and horses eager to show their clever resourcefulness.
A few friends and I liberally had some drinks - adult beverage, and gorged ourselves on grilled meats while watching this sport of equestrian finesse. And then, one of my friends blurts out; “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man”. At that point we couldn’t tell if he said that under the influence of tasty bites or adult beverages, all we know is that he said it.
